Notes from the coast

The resort collections, seen from a rock in Liguria with the sea behind them.

Resort is the season nobody quite understands and everybody buys. It arrives in November, is worn in March, and is photographed, ideally, in July. We took it to the coast.

The dresses this year are long, printed and cut on the bias, which is to say they move. On a rock above the water, with a wind coming off the sea, they moved a great deal.
