Colour, loudly

Teal, saffron, scarlet: the case for one colour worn head to toe.

Monochrome used to mean black. This season it means picking a colour and committing to it, top to shoe, with no neutrals to soften the effect.

It is easier than it looks. One strong colour is calmer than three medium ones, and the eye reads a single-colour outfit as a shape rather than a collection of pieces. Start with trousers and a knit in the same tone and add the coat later.
